The Flood of 2007 ocurred over a weekend period. 17 inches of rain fell over a 48 hour period. Francestown, NH. was literally isolated where all but on highway and or major roads were completed under water. My front yard was a 30 wide 4ft deep running river. The water was running over my lane because culverts were unable to keep up with the water flow.
